Everything you need to know about mining with MySoloPool

Want to understand the mining process? Read our comprehensive guide

What is a solo pool?

A solo pool allows individual miners to combine their hashrate while maintaining solo mining benefits. When a block is found, the miner who contributed the winning share receives 100% of the block reward, not split among all participants.

What are the pool fees?

MySoloPool charges 3% fees. You keep 100% of any block rewards you find. Block rewards are 3.12 BTC + 0.05 Transactions Fees = 3.17 BTC Total, Pool Fee about 0.09 BTC, Winning Address will get 3.06 BTC or more directly from Blockchain. no registration costs, and no withdrawal fees.

Do I need to register or create an account?

No registration is required. Simply point your miner to our stratum server using your Bitcoin address as the username. You can immediately start mining and track your statistics.

How do I receive block rewards?

When a block is found using your hashrate, the full block reward (currently 3.125 BTC plus transaction fees) is sent directly to the Bitcoin address you used as your username. Payouts are automatic and instant.

What difficulty should I use?

You can use variable difficulty (password: 'x') which is automatically adjusted by the pool, or set a fixed difficulty (password: 'd=50000') where you specify your desired difficulty level. Variable difficulty is recommended for most miners.

How do I check my mining statistics?

Simply search for your Bitcoin address on our homepage or visit the dashboard. You'll see real-time hashrate, worker information, shares submitted, and your best difficulty achieved.

What happens if I disconnect?

Your statistics are preserved. When you reconnect with the same Bitcoin address, your mining data continues from where you left off. Shares are tracked per address, not per session.

Can I mine with multiple workers?

Yes! You can use multiple miners or workers with the same Bitcoin address. All hashrate will be combined and tracked under your address. Use different worker names (e.g., address.worker1, address.worker2) if you want to track individual workers.

What is the minimum hashrate required?

There is no minimum hashrate requirement. You can mine with any amount of hashrate, from a single ASIC to a large mining farm. However, higher hashrate increases your chances of finding blocks.

Is the pool secure?

Yes. We use standard Stratum protocol encryption, and all connections are secure. Your Bitcoin address is only used for identification and payouts - we never have access to your private keys or funds.

What happens to my shares if I switch pools?

Shares are specific to each pool. If you switch pools, your shares reset. However, your historical statistics on MySoloPool remain visible for reference.

How often are blocks found?

Block discovery depends on the total pool hashrate and Bitcoin network difficulty. With higher pool hashrate, blocks are found more frequently. You can view recent blocks on our Blocks page.
